Get Into Fish

I had a chance to fish the Wilson yesterday, floating from Mills Bridge to Sollie Smith Bridge.  The water was gorgeous, sitting at 4.8 with a slight drop.  We saw only 2 fish caught and heard of 1 more.  Not sure why the slow day for such great conditions.  As I talked it over with my buddy, we come to the conclusion that it must be between spurts.  Meaning that with every rain and rise of the river a "spurt" of fish will move up.

My buddy Steve had fished earlier in the week (Tuesday) where there were a lot of fish caught all over the river.

Right now the hot item seems to be puff balls or eggs.

Well, as the next rain hits the coast and the water gets a new freshet to it I'll post more as I hear it.

Hope you all are having good fishing.  If you get a chance scroll down and check out the new affiliate to get into fish!

See ya next time.

Cheers-
